Another Game We CANNOT See...
Ok so the hockey season is up and running now, well at least the pre-season and nothing annoys me more than not being able to see the game. Listening to the radio versus watching it on television is just not the same. I know everyone wants to be there in person, but unfortunately, most of us cannot be. One major complaint of mine is that most of the teams and most competitive games cannot be viewed on normal television. I mean some of us do not live the pampered life and get all of the extra satellite channels here at college. It would be nice to see a successful team such as the Penguins, get more television time over some of the others that might be struggling. Due to their recent success and new arena it just seems fair.

I agree 100%. I mean we should have the cable channels, such as versus, so we can watch all the PENS games duringthe season. we obviously cant go to the games all the time, so we need to have access to the channels on television. I would much rather watc the game on TV than have to listen to it on the radio. And LETS GO PENS!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Pittsburgh Penguins are one of the most popular teams in the National Hockey League. Out of the eighty-two game season that they will play this year, Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh will broadcast approximately seventy of those games while the other games will be nationally televised, which means they will not be aired on FSN. Although this may not seem fair to those fans in the Pittsburgh area that do not have the Versus Network, Versus will only broadcast a handful of games while the other nationally broadcast games will be aired on NBC. Like the fans in Pittsburgh, most hockey fans would like to watch the Penguins on a nightly basis, but in order for them to watch these games they would have to purchase the NHL package which costs more than a sport package provided by a local cable company. Although every Penguin’s game is not available on FSN, Pittsburgh fans have the option to listen to the games on the radio if they would like to know how their team is doing.
